TaeGeon serves as a key member of the executive leadership team at Saichild, overseeing the Group’s Risk and Compliance function. As Chief Risk and Compliance Officer (CRCO), he reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and the Audit Committee, playing a vital role in safeguarding the Group’s integrity, reputation, and operational resilience.

 

In his role, TaeGeon leads the design and implementation of comprehensive compliance and risk management frameworks across the organization. He is responsible for embedding a strong culture of governance and regulatory adherence into Saichild’s daily operations, ensuring that the Group is well-positioned to navigate a complex and evolving regulatory landscape. His remit covers a wide spectrum of responsibilities, including enterprise risk, regulatory compliance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), Ethics and Conduct, and Data Privacy.

 

TaeGeon works closely with business and functional leaders to ensure that risk considerations are effectively integrated into decision-making processes. Under his leadership, Saichild has strengthened its control environment, enhanced transparency, and reinforced a risk-aware culture across all levels of the organization.

 

Prior to joining Saichild, TaeGeon held senior roles in global financial institutions, most recently as Director of Global Banking and Markets Operational Risk Oversight at a leading international bank. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an analyst, where he developed strong foundational expertise in risk assessment, internal controls, and regulatory frameworks.
