Paulus plays a pivotal role in leading the Group’s investment strategy and corporate development initiative. He is instrumental in shaping the Group’s overarching business and corporate policies, ensuring that all strategic initiatives are aligned with the Group’s long-term vision and growth objectives.
 
With over 20 years of experience across banking and global financial markets, Paulus brings deep expertise in trading, investment management, corporate finance, and structured solutions. His career spans a broad spectrum of asset classes across the Asia-Pacific region, with a consistent track record of building and scaling high-performing businesses within major international financial institutions.
 
Recognized as a top-tier derivatives trader, Paulus previously led the derivatives structuring and solutions advisory group at a leading U.S. investment bank. He was also a founding member of a special situations and macro-focused investment fund in Asia, where he played a key role in developing the firm’s strategic and investment capabilities.
 
Paulus began his career at J.P. Morgan, where he served as a market maker and proprietary trader, with a focus on foreign exchange and derivatives.
